November was a landmark month for Vicky O’Neon, bringing together international broadcast performance, creative education and a new fashion collaboration — all reflecting the breadth of her work beyond the DJ booth.
From national television in Finland to supporting independent artists across the Nordic music scene, it was a month defined by culture, creativity and connection.
Performing at the Svenska Dagen gala on Finnish television
One of the standout moments of the month saw Vicky perform as part of the house band for the Svenska Dagen gala, a nationally recognised event celebrating Swedish-speaking culture in Finland.
Broadcast on YLE 5, the gala reached audiences across the country and was organised by Folktinget. The production was filmed by Parad Media in collaboration with YLE, delivering a polished, broadcast-level live music experience.
For Vicky, a Swedish-speaking Finn, the event carried particular personal significance — combining professional performance with cultural heritage on a national stage.
Clips from the broadcast and behind-the-scenes moments were later shared online, offering a glimpse into the scale and atmosphere of the production.
Supporting artists through Nordic Music Creators webinars
Alongside her performance work, Vicky also delivered two online creative-industry webinars for Nordic Music Creators, an organisation dedicated to supporting independent musicians across the Nordic region.
The sessions covered:
- Making It Work — earning a sustainable living as a musician
- Build Your Brand — visual identity and presentation for artists
Both webinars focused on practical, real-world advice, drawing on Vicky’s experience across performance, branding and creative entrepreneurship. The sessions were extremely well received, and discussions are already underway about further workshops in 2026.
You can learn more about the organisation and its work via the Nordic Music Creators website.
VON x Above Average Clothing collaboration
Rounding out the month, Vicky also launched a custom merchandise collaboration with Above Average Clothing, releasing a range of hoodies, t-shirts and tank tops featuring her own designs.
The VON x Above Average collection reflects her bold visual identity, with selected items also available in customisable formats — allowing fans to personalise designs in their own style.
