This month marked a major milestone for LOOP — our very first performance on a military base, and what a way to do it.
We had the honour of delivering a LOOP DJ Live set to close out the Warrant Officers and Sergeants’ Mess Christmas Party at RAF Coningsby — and it turned out to be one of the most unforgettable nights we’ve ever played.
A Christmas party like no other
From the very first track, the dance floor was alive. The officers brought relentless energy all night long, with hands-in-the-air moments, full-throttle singalongs and a crowd that simply refused to slow down.
At one point, Dre even jumped into the middle of a full-blown Linkin Park mosh pit while still spinning tracks — a moment that perfectly summed up the atmosphere. Add in:
- An epic Backstreet Boys singalong
- Bubbles filling the room
- A full balloon drop
- And a show-stopping finale featuring a brilliant guest performance of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want for Christmas Is You”
… and we’re honestly not sure anyone is going to top this for craziest Christmas party of the year.

Nights like this are exactly what LOOP DJ Live is built for — reading the room, feeding off the crowd and turning a great party into an unforgettable one. From rock anthems to pop classics and festive chaos, the set moved seamlessly with the energy on the floor.
